Following this, the Bird Observation Program was conducted. All the
participants identified the birds captured in their photographs using a
bird identification app or other sources. They shared both the bird
photographs and their identified names.
This activity helped the participants to learn the names of different
birds, improve their identification skills, and also develop the ability to
recognize bird and it’s sounds in the future.
It helps in understanding biodiversity conservation methods, designing
eco-friendly infrastructure, and promoting environmental impact
assessments. Moreover, such activities improve students’
observational skills, analytical thinking, and sensitivity towards
preserving the ecosystem, which are essential qualities in various
engineering disciplines.
