The Sahyadrians came together for an engaging one-day forest trekking
programme held at the Chimmini Wildlife Sanctuary, Thrissur, on 18 January 2026. The
programme was organized by the Sahyadri Nature Club with the aim of promoting
environmental awareness and appreciation of nature. A total of 34 participants took part
in the programme, gaining firsthand exposure to the rich biodiversity and serene forest
landscape of the sanctuary
The forest trekking programme was guided and coordinated by dedicated faculty
members Er. Ashwin P.V. and Er. Lekha Susan Jacob, Er Sandeep lal who ensured
smooth execution and meaningful learning throughout the journey. Student
